Curious About Jesus?
Human beings can’t help asking the big questions. What kind of story am I in? Why is the world the way it is? What’s the point of everything? Where can I find love, meaning, and purpose? Is there a God? How can I connect with God?
Our world is full of stories that offer us answers to these questions. But none of them quite live up to their promise.
Christianity revolves around Jesus Christ and the claim that the answers to life’s biggest questions are ultimately found in him: his life, his death on a Roman cross, and his physical resurrection from the dead.
At Central West End Church, we believe everyone should have the freedom to ask the big questions and find honest answers in a community where their dignity is honored, their questions and doubts are welcomed, and most of all where they can encounter the real Jesus.
We hope the following resources help you begin your journey of meeting Jesus.

We created this sermon series for people who are curious about Jesus. Maybe you grew up in church. Maybe you didn’t. Maybe you already know who you think Jesus is. Maybe you have no idea. In a world with so many different opinions about Jesus, how can we really know who he is? We designed this series for you.

There are many wonderful books that can help us encounter the real Jesus. Here are a handful that are especially helpful. Some are classics that have stood the test of time. Others are newer but bring new insights from history and scholarship. All of them are well respected, renowned writers in the field.
